Is it truly possible to live free and break the links of pain that have been chained on to you? Can you possibly soar above on top of the highest mountains even from having broken wings? If you're saying no, change your answer to yes. Say yes because you are possible and you are stronger than your struggles. You are strong enough to get through your suffering. You're not pain, nor are you a failure. You are not defined by your mental illness; you are a human being. You are made of love and beauty. We all have the option to allow healing and recovery to come into our lives. Let healing have it's time, be patient, and know that you can be fixed. Choose recovery because you're worth it. Don't let your wounds, the words of others, or your struggle of pain, be a road block to you becoming better. You will get better. You will get through it all. Where we begin our journey and what we've been through does not dictate where we are capable of going. What you do now will determine the outcome of you and your life. Change your ways now and fight harder than you've ever had to. There are things you deserve; like having a happy life. You deserve to be Homecoming/Prom Queen or King, to have loving friends, to have a good book to read, and living or visiting the one place you dreamed about going to since you were a kid. You deserve to be kissed by someone who loves you for you, not necessarily of what's shown on the outside, but what glows from the inside. As well you deserve to have your dream wedding, perfect honeymoon and one day have a family. You need nights of craziness, loud music, re-runs of your favorite show, and many cuddles. You need and deserve so much. It's my hope and belief that you can obtain these things that you longed for awhile ago. Enjoy every day, despite the fact you might be in pain. Remind yourself pain is temporary; this is just one chapter of your life and better chapters are in the making. Day by day, little by little, try to break free. Try to rise above everything that's not allowing you to function and be happy. Live free and above. Not one day, or one month; every single day for the rest of your life live free and above.
