Q. What does self love and self care look like for you?
A. My idea of self love and self care is simply being healthy and looking after my body. Listening to what my body is telling me, making sure I'm getting appropriate amounts of sleep, eating healthy, maintaining myself and exercising. A positive physical appearance always leads to a positive mental attitude, so keeping fit is very important to me and my lifestyle.
The human body is capable of achieving amazing things if you look after it right.
Staying stress free can be challenging at times when I'm on a busy schedule, or competing at a world level meet. The key is always making time to do the things I like and enjoy. Goal setting is an awesome way to keep the mind and spirit focused, and the feeling of achievement is like no other once you can look back at the work and commitment you've put in to achieve those goals. You only have one life, so make the most of every day and love yourself!
